"RYN DEL PAPA is an artist on a mission. As an interdisciplinary artist, technologist, and entrepreneur, they create art, designs, and innovation for planetary health, honoring the diversity from plants to people. Born in Houston, Texas, they are a self-taught artist who fuses art and science across digital and physical mediums. With each work, the artist strives to inspire health, inclusivity, ecological awareness, social equity, and hope.

They received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Austin in the interdisciplinary field of International Nutrition, which included Field Research in Community Nutrition in South Africa. Eight years of work within technology, exploration of artistic mediums, and lived experiences abroad have infused the artist's works with an international and unique perspective. In 2022, Ryn began to share their physical artwork in Austin at local coffee shops and showcased their web3 NFT artwork in virtual galleries. In 2023, they were selected as a finalist in the See | Me  New Realism/Altered Reality exhibit at Gallery 23 NY, in August 2023. From October 2023 to May 2024, they created, explored, and imagined a regenerative future in the Design Science Studio, a think-tank rooted in Anticipatory Design teachings and fiscally sponsored by the Buckminster Fuller Institute. They are the founder and owner of RYN DEL PAPA LLC, their art brand and creative house, and startup founder at Virtual Oasis Tech. Their core mission informs their art practice and social impact venture: Honor life’s diversity, from plants to people, for planetary health.
""As an interdisciplinary artist, with a background in public-health the themes of solar punk have evolved in my art practice as a reflection of learnings integrating community, unity, environment, and sustainability. Through an 8-month creative research-oriented program through Design Science Studio, from October 2023 to May 2024,  which focused on anticipatory design science as a fiscally-sponsored program through the Buckminster Fuller Institute, that fellowship planted seeds in my work as both an artist and social impact founder to imagine how we can envision, create, and inspire a regenerative future.
